Bishop Chappetto - Spiritual Care and Pastoral Leadership in Brooklyn

Bishop Raymond Chappetto serves with the Diocese of Brooklyn as auxiliary bishop emeritus, maintaining an active presence in the Roman Catholic community. He was ordained to the priesthood in 1971 and began his ministry as a parochial vicar at Saint Camillus Church in Queens, delivering spiritual leadership through daily masses and homilies.

In 1997, Bishop Chappetto was named a Prelate of Honor (Monsignor) by Saint John Paul II. He was ordained as Auxiliary Bishop in 2012 and served as Vicar General of the Diocese of Brooklyn from 2013 to 2022.
